How it works
Three simple steps.
Find your area, set how far you will travel, then claim or share. Listings stay up until they are claimed or taken down. Once a week we email the poster to ask whether an item is still available, and anything that goes a full month with no answer comes off the board, so you are not chasing something that is already gone.

Choose the counties you are willing to drive to, so you only see items that are realistic for you to pick up.
3. Claim or share
Claim an item or post one of your own. Your listing stays up until a family claims it or you take it down. Once a week, a quick email asks whether it is still available, and one click keeps it live. It only comes off on its own if a full month passes with no answer.

Have something a family could use?
List what you are giving away and where. It stays on the board until a family claims it or you take it down. Once a week we email you a one-click button to confirm the item is still available, and each click keeps it live for another 30 days. If a full month goes by with no answer, it comes off the board, and you can put it back up any time from "Your listings" below. We also email you when someone claims your item or sends you a message about it. When a family claims it, they will see the contact you provide so you can arrange a pickup.
Please list things you would be glad to receive. Clean, whole, and working. Worn or imperfect is welcome, just say so in the details, because a family may drive an hour to pick it up. If someone reports that an item arrived damaged or was not what the listing said, and they send a photo, that report is reviewed by a person. Three upheld reports pause posting for a month, six pause it for six months, and nine close the account.
Meet safely. When you hand off an item, choose a public "safe exchange zone." Many police departments and sheriff's offices offer well-lit, camera-monitored spots for exactly this. Meet during the day, bring a friend if you can, and never share more personal information than you need to.
