A clean, county-by-county board where neighbors share free essentials like cribs, strollers, coats, and school supplies, and where your family can ask for what it needs. No ads, no endless scrolling, and no tracking, ever.
How it works
Three simple steps.
Find your area, set how far you will travel, then claim or share. Listings stay up until they are claimed or taken down. Once a week we email the poster to ask whether an item is still available, and anything that goes a full month with no answer comes off the board, so you are not chasing something that is already gone.

Choose the counties you are willing to drive to, so you only see items that are realistic for you to pick up.
3. Claim, share, or ask
Claim an item, post one of your own, or ask for something your family needs. Before you post an item, search the requests: a family near you may have asked for exactly that. Your listing stays up until a family claims it or you take it down. Once a week, a quick email asks whether it is still available, and one click keeps it live. It only comes off on its own if a full month passes with no answer.

Post an item
Have something a family could use?
List what you are giving away and where. It stays on the board until a family claims it or you take it down. Once a week we email you a one-click button to confirm the item is still available, and each click keeps it live for another 30 days. If a full month goes by with no answer, it comes off the board, and you can put it back up any time from "Your listings" below. We email you when someone claims your item or sends you a message, and you arrange the pickup through private messages on the site. Your email address is never shown to anyone.
Please list things you would be glad to receive. Clean, whole, and working. Worn or imperfect is welcome, just say so in the details, because a family may drive an hour to pick it up. If someone reports that an item arrived damaged or was not what the listing said, and they send a photo, that report is reviewed by a person. Three upheld reports pause posting for a month, six pause it for six months, and nine close the account.
Meet safely. When you hand off an item, choose a public "safe exchange zone." Many police departments and sheriff's offices offer well-lit, camera-monitored spots for exactly this. Meet during the day, bring a friend if you can, and never share more personal information than you need to.
Car seats are not shared here, and cribs only when they are safe as they are. A used car seat can hide crash damage, an expiration date, or a recall, so families who need one should call their county health department or a certified car seat technician. A crib can be listed if it meets the 2011 federal standard (no drop sides), has every part, and has no recall. Say the brand and model. Inclined sleepers and padded bumpers are banned products. Ask for something
Tell your county what your family needs.
Post what you're looking for, with the size or age, and neighbors in your county see it under Requests. When someone can give it, we email you and you set up the handoff through private messages on the site. Your email address is never shown, and asking is free.
Requests are public, so keep them to the item. Leave out your name, phone number, and address. A neighbor who can help will message you privately, and you can pick a public place to meet. Requests are for things a neighbor can hand you, so money, gift cards, and car seats can't be requested here. You can have up to 5 open requests at a time.

Know a family who needs something?
Counselors, pastors, nurses, and caseworkers hear the need first. Verified agencies can post a request here without naming the family, and neighbors in the county fill it. Create a free account with your work email, then write to kaylynn@nexuspointfamily.org with your organization and county. We switch it on the same day.
